Well, due to the cold weather that lasted up until the latter part of March we got a late start on Gardening. Then comes Spring and we get non-stop heavy rains which turned into flooding in the areas and saturated our Garden. Along came Summer with the hottest temps of 100 degrees everyday in July/August it seemed and our Garden got so dry and the tomato plants were dying. So just the other day we tore it all down with the exception of the pumpkin seeds which are now huge plants. Hoping we get some Bees to come around and pollenate. This is our first year to grow pumpkins. I am excited and can't wait to see how they harvest. It was nice for the last couple of days we got cooler temps around here. The other evening I was enjoying a glass of wine on the back patio and it was 77 degrees with a little breeze. It was wonderful! I had shorts on and went in quickly to put some yoga pants on LOL!!! I am tired of Summer it has been too hot here and dry. We got a tiny bit of rain the other evening as well! So ready for FALL and everything Pumpkin Spice! How is it in your neck of the woods? Enjoy the few pictures in and around the Garden.
